2012 – A look back

Last year was truly amazing. We released the iOS version of BandFriend ( initially called musicr ). We made a few updates available fixing some minor and thankfully less than a handful critical issues. More than 2000 musicians joined us within the first 4 months. We have received some great feedback and a few critical responses and are thanking both of you. With your help and feedback we can make an even better app in 2013.

2013 – What’s ahead

We have been working on the Android version of BandFriend and are hoping to get into the feature complete state this month. After some more user interface work and design refinements we follow a short beta test period and expect to release it to the Google Play Store in February.

Once we release the Android version we’ll shift our focus back to new features of both the iOS and the Android versions.

We have already reached over 400 users in metropolitan areas like Los Angeles and expect to grow in all areas to reach over 5000 users in the U.S. alone by Spring 2013.
